 Meets on Wednesday at 7pm

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, ROOTED and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. -Colossians 2:6-7

ROOTED Youth Ministry includes junior high to high school students from different backgrounds and all walks of life. We strive to grow together as a body of Christ, as well as in our own personal relationship with God.

Nursery Ministry

We provide nursery services on Sunday mornings from 10:15am till end of service for ages 2months (8 weeks) thru PreK 4.   All of our Volunteers are background checked.  If you are interested in becoming a volunteer of this ministry, please see Sis. Kelly Rowland and/or Pastor Steve Comstock.

Too often serving in the church nursery can seem like a thankless job. One of the key tasks for children’s ministry leaders is to help volunteers understand their importance.

  • God is in the church nursery.
Your service in the church nursery allows church goers to focus on worship, rather than worrying about their children. In a very real sense your ministry makes it possible for the pastor to fulfill his ministry.
  • The first (and sometimes lasting) feelings a child will have toward church is formed in the nursery department.
  •  When you serve in the nursery, you are being entrusted with the most important (and vulnerable) members of the church family.
  • Your service is essential for your own spiritual growth. You may have never looked at it this way, but a growing Christian is always a serving Christian.
  • The church nursery is the first contact young families will have with your church. Your friendly greeting and exceptional care for their children can make a great first impression for your church. If they don’t feel like their children are safe, they will not return – and rightly so.
  • Your service in the church nursery is a powerful opportunity for prayer.  There is no better way to create an environment of spiritual nurture than to pray while you serve in the nursery.

Children's Ministry - Diboll Kids

Children's Ministry

Spiritual transformation happens when kids come to know Jesus, rather than just know about Jesus.

Our job is to prepare the soil of kids’ hearts so seeds of faith can grow, and a true relationship with Jesus can happen.

Each experience is intentionally designed to create a social, emotional, and spiritual environment that prepares hearts and minds for God to work.
