So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, ROOTED and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. -Colossians 2:6-7
ROOTED Youth Ministry includes junior high to high school students from different backgrounds and all walks of life. We strive to grow together as a body of Christ, as well as in our own personal relationship with God.
We provide nursery services on Sunday mornings from 10:15am till end of service for ages 2months (8 weeks) thru PreK 4. All of our Volunteers are background checked. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer of this ministry, please see Sis. Kelly Rowland and/or Pastor Steve Comstock.
Too often serving in the church nursery can seem like a thankless job. One of the key tasks for children’s ministry leaders is to help volunteers understand their importance.
Spiritual transformation happens when kids come to know Jesus, rather than just know about Jesus.
Our job is to prepare the soil of kids’ hearts so seeds of faith can grow, and a true relationship with Jesus can happen.
Each experience is intentionally designed to create a social, emotional, and spiritual environment that prepares hearts and minds for God to work.
